Discuss these options with your current TPA or contact our team to find out what the requirements are as well as how much you may save. If you aren't already part of our program, you'lll need to request a quote so that we can access your data and determine your estimated savings:

2018 Policy Year Packets:

These should be mailed by the Ohio BWC in mid to late April and will include:

• 2018 BWC Coverage Certificate

• 2018 Estimated Payroll

• 2018 Estimated Premium and Premium Installment Schedule

• Directions on how to amend estimated payroll or change premium installment schedule

• Important Reminders

The packet outlines your responsibility as a policy holder. Be sure to read all of the information contained in the cover letter and packet and take appropriate action by the specific due dates noted.

Key Dates and Deadlines:

• If you wish to change your Premium Installment Schedule – that must be done online by May 15.

• Your TRUE UP must be completed by August 15 or the BWC will disqualify you from all savings programs.

MCO Open Enrollment Period: April 30 – May 25, 2018

Every two years, the BWC will allow you to review your current MCO and make changes, if needed. Read through all materials carefully before sending back enrollment forms. If you are confused, call your current Third Party Administrator for assistance.

True Up Period: July 1 – August 15, 2018

In order to reconcile the estimated payroll/premium paid during the prior policy year, the BWC requires each policy holder to conduct a True Up. Once the policy year closes, you must report your actual payroll from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 to the BWC. If your actual payroll was higher than the estimate, you will owe the BWC a True Up Audit Premium. That must be paid before August 15 in order for the True Up to be complete. * if you use a payroll company to pay BWC premiums and report your True Up, confirm that they will report and pay the True Up Audit. Not all payroll companies will make the payment for you and you could lose your group rating and BWC discount eligibility if you are not paying close attention to the True Up.
